The Driving Range Tee (DRT) is starting to break dormancy and it appears the decision to stay off the grass this fall was a great call. The turf looks uniform, healthy and dense. We have already scalped it down to .375" and fertilized it twice with 1 lb of Nitrogen per 1000 ft2. The Agronomy Staff will be doing a uniform heavy topdressing on Monday afternoon to firm/smooth the surface. All we need now is the right weather and the tee box will be ready for business.
